Yesterday was pick up day at our county fair, which gave us our first opportunity to figure out our results. Once again, we took home the largest check of the fair. Our blue ribbon percentage is almost 50% of everything we enter. Not bad! I included a photo of the back of some of our blue ribbon entries so you can see the care I put into each and every jar. Oh, and I was told that if I had done more quilting on my candy jar quilt I would have done even better. Which is a moot point because it got exactly the amount of quilting that I could tolerate.Advertisement

And you remain a force to be reckoned with! The entire county quakes with fear at the sound of Connie coming to the fair with her submissions.
Congratulations!!

Actually fair check in takes about an hour so I take the lovely Rotary Club ladies cookies to appease them. Otherwise they would quake in dread at seeing us show up!

Amazing! And to think you get to eat your efforts, too. All that applique’ work on the quilt more than makes up for additional quilting. Congratulations! I appreciate you sharing with us.

Hurray! I’m glad you did so well, but really happy because I know I’ll get to eat some of that. 🙂
