Twice a year we vaccinate the goats and sheep. We do it ourselves, it’s one of the responsibilities of raising animals. Kat is quite interested in what’s going on with her little one. Most everyone is really good about it. They don’t fuss when they get stuck at all, it’s just getting them in position that’s sometimes difficult. As usual, Beatrice is the worse. She’s the worse behaved during shearing every year, too. She kicks and kicks and makes it worse for herself (and us). See how she’s covered in mud? Brat!Advertisement

Hi! I happened on your site last night and when I saw animals and country I was hooked. It’s true what they say, “You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl.” What I wouldn’t give to once again live in the country, have a garden, and a few animals to love on. I think what you have is a dream come true and it’s wonderful that you appreciate it as you obviously do.

Aw shucks, thanks so much for your comment! Don’t be a stranger, there’s always something going on around here. We’ve got a ewe in labor right now! 🙂
