Here’s a cute little necklace I made with a tiny glass jar full of dandelion fluff. I’ve had the ‘wish’ charm for a long time, this seemed like the perfect use for it. If you’re interested, the tiny bottles can be ordered from Alpha Stamps and I’ve also seen them in the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby.

So sweet! Will the dandelion fluff get all icky in a few days? Could you use a little fluff from a maribou feather boa instead, I wonder?

So sweet! I wonder if the dandelion fluff will go bad in a few days. Maybe you could use maribou feather boa fluff instead?

A maribou feather might make a nice substitution, you could try it. I let the dandelion dry out in my kitchen for about 2 weeks before I made it and it’s holding up nicely. Thanks for your comment. 🙂

Oh well if it’s holding up, never mind! Nothing better than the real thing.

I love your necklace and wondered how you attached the jar to the chain.

Thanks Peggy! The jar has a loop in the center of the cork, it came that way. I’m sure you could also install your own jewelry finding loop in a cork if you couldn’t locate one that already had it.
