Lizzie has selected the biggest tree in our pasture to pass her time so that’s where we’ve been feeding her. Plus, her bathtub is there. What more could a giant puppy want?

Is it the nature of her job that Lizzie has limited human contact? It seems that she is always alone. I’m not trying to be snarky but am just curious. I don’t know much about the work of sheep guarding.

She gets lots of love when we feed her in the AM and PM and is getting some basic training. She knows ‘come’ and ‘sit’ and we’re teaching her to walk on a lead so we can get her to the vet. She’s out with the flock so she imprints on them with the idea that she becomes their protector when she gets bigger. And she’s going to get a lot bigger. 🙂
