Savannah introduces her brand new one day old lamb to Maya and Bella’s twin kids, who our daughter Claire named Arthur and Uther. Even though Uther was King Arthur’s father not brother. Uther is the black one and Arthur is the mostly white one. Got that? 🙂 We named Savannah’s little ewe Valdosta , Val for short.

Teeny climbs on anything that doesn’t move. Once she’s up there, she stomps around until she falls off, then climbs up again. Here she is biting Mina’s ear. And Mina isn’t even her mom…

He’s the hardest goat we own to catch, but no so much when he’s mining for tasty morsels in the hay!

Bella had twin bucklings this morning. They couldn’t look any different from each other, and both are so cute!
More To Come

It’s really fun having kids around. They are very hard to catch but are soft and snuggly when you do. Bella’s the size of a house, she should add to the menagerie soon enough.
Magic, I Tell Ya

I traded in my two year old Baby Lock embroidery machine for the top of the line Ellisimo last week and have been having a blast with it. I sew a lot, practically every day. I had my eye on a decidedly not top of the line one when I walked by the Ellisimo and noticed it had a tablet plugged into the side of it. Intrigued, I asked about it and was told you can draw on the tablet and the machine will stitch what you draw. Shut! Up! That made the decision easy. A lot of the commercially available embroidery patterns are cutesy and country and just not me. I am no longer bound by the artwork of others. Huzzah!

Wayne is one of Nellie’s boys. His brother’s name is Garth. He has a little hint of brown on the tips of both ears which makes him adorable. Party on!
The Wrong Side Of The Fence

Brian was out doing heavy chores with the tractor for a good part of the day when Jack and I went out to feed the animals. Jack went nuts when he saw him on the other side of the fence. He’s such a daddy’s boy. Every time Jack makes a fuss over Brian, I tell him I want a puppy of my own for Christmas. It’ll never happen but a gal can dream.
