Finally

My annual goal of growing a pumpkin came true this year, and then some!  I think we started them too soon in early June.  I don’t care.  They make me happy!

    Nice! I tried once and gave up. Maybe I should try again. Almost had a watermelon one time. It (yes only one popped up) started growing and then it stopped for no apparent reason. Go figure. Anyway, good job!

    I went to a farm open house last week and they had a pumpkin patch by the entrance for decoration. there were a lot (most) that were already rotten. Hopefully they will get some for the kids. They must be difficult to grow. Personally, I prefer a variety of winter squash for Fall decorations.
